Tree planting fun at Te Pane o Mataoho

A wonderful day was had last Wednesday tree planting on Te Pane o Mataoho (Māngere Mountain).

What an amazing day! A contingent of keen planters from each of our ten schools (plus Onehunga Kindy and Ambury Park Centre) come together for a day of planting.

A great show of kaitiakitanga and kotahitanga!

Thanks to Tūpuna Maunga Authority for organising this event for us and their manaakitanga in providing kai and korero about umu cooking etc. We really value our relationship with them.
